Biography
Anna Ura was born in Paris, France and raised in Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, her Masters degree of Education from the University of Colorado Denver, and she studied at Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy. She has exhibited work in galleries in New York City; Miami; Chicago; Los Angeles; Philadelphia; San Francisco; Telluride, Colorado; Boulder, Colorado; Boise, Idaho; and Florence, Italy. She has been awarded numerous grants and her work has been featured in publications including Ten by Ten magazine, and the book Exactly. She currently lives with her daughter in Boulder, Colorado.
